Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to recieve my order?

Most orders will ship out 5-7 days from the time the order is placed.  Hand made items will take 7-10 business days to ship.

How do I fill out the order form?

1. Choose the Text Style you would like to use from the drop down menu. (how you would like the letters to be placed, and what order)

2. Choose the Font Style from the drop down menu.

3. Choose the Thread Color from the drop down menu.

4. Fill out the blank fields nest to First name, Middle/Maiden Name, and Last Name. (We will embroider the initials or name according to what you have chosen under the Text Style).

5. Fill out the Monogram/Text Placement. This is where you can tell us where you would like the lettering to be placed on the item. 

For example, if you order a baby blanket and would like the name Alexander embroidered on the left corner, type "Bottom Left Corner" in the Placement Field.

What type of payment do you accept?

First comes love is a verified Paypal business. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express through Paypal.

What are your shipping fees?

For non-furniture pieces shipping fees are based on the order total as follows:

$   1.00  -  $ 20.00   -  $ 2.95 Shipping

$ 21.00  -  $ 50.00   -  $ 4.70 Shipping

$ 51.00  -  $ 70.00   -  $ 5.50 Shipping 

$ 71.00  -  $100.00  -  $ 6.95 Shipping

For Large Furniture pieces:

         Many of our clients opt to have their products shipped directly to their homes. The goods will be delivered to your address, and pulled to the back of the truck only. It is the responsibility of the receiving party to remove the items from the back of the truck and transport them into your home. The delivering company will call ahead to schedule a time window for delivery. When choosing to have your items drop shipped to a residential location, you must include all shipping information, including full name, address and phone number. If you'd like to upgrade this level of service, please call our customer service team at 318.868.1115 to discuss your options. Additional fees will apply, depending upon your individual needs.

 

What type of shipping method do you use?

We use USPS Priotity Shipping for small packages.  Most packages arrive 2-3 days from the date the item is shipped.

We drop ship all furniture pieces from the manufacturer directly to your door using freight carriers.  Please contact us for shipping prices as they vary for each furniture piece and place of delivery.

What To Do When Your Piece Has A Manufacturer Defect:

             As stated on your invoice, you must retain original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your piece. In the case of a manufacturer defect, we reserve the right to replace or repair as we see fit. If you insist on returning because of a minor defect, and do not allow us to make an attempt to repair or replace the item, you will be charged a  10% re-stocking fee along with the freight costs of the return. If you receive a piece from Bratt Decor that suffers from a manufacturer defect, let us know at once. PLEASE NOTE: SMALL NICKS, SCRATCHES AND NON-THREATENING CRACKS ARE ALL PART OF THE VINTAGE LOOK AND ARE NOT CONSIDERED DEFECTS. Call us at 318.868.1115 and we will contact Bratt and let us know exactly what the problem is. We will assume all reasonable expenses to fix any manufacturer defect. We may require photos of the defect to help us understand your issues more clearly. Please understand, we may require your assistance, in order to improve our service to you.

Solutions may include: sending replacement parts, sending touch up paint, repairing on site, discounting the piece, and as a last resort, returning the merchandise. Your cooperation in these efforts (in retaining packaging, providing photos, re-packaging and making the merchandise available to repair companies and or freight companies) is required. We will make every attempt to resolve any issues as efficiently as possible.

How To Return When Dissatisfied: 

         You may return any Bratt Decor item for any reason within 7 business days of receipt of product for a refund. You must retain original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your piece. In the event that you wish to return your item, simply repackage the piece in the manner in which you received it, in it’s original packaging, and call us to place a call tag. If you have thrown away your packaging and wish to return merchandise, it is your responsibility to procure new packaging. You must repackage the item in an expert fashion to reduce risk of shipping damage. If you fail to re-package in an expert fashion, and shipping damage occurs, you may forfeit your right to a refund. Shipping charges for returns due to dissatisfaction are your responsibility. A refund will be dispersed within 30 days of our receiving the merchandise so long as it returns to us in good condition.

After 7 days it is assumed you are satisfied and no merchandise may be returned.

*All returns are subjected to a 10% restocking fee.
